My Client is a leading provider of innovative technology solutions and IT services. We are looking for a candidate in the Houston Market that has at least 2 years experience in IT Sales and is not afraid to hunt for new leads. Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building strong relationships with potential clients, and driving revenue growth. As a BDR, you will play a crucial role in identifying and qualifying leads, setting up meetings, and working closely with our sales and marketing teams to achieve our business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients through various channels, including social media, industry events, and networking opportunities. Prospecting: Reach out to potential clients via cold calling, email campaigns, and social media to introduce the company’s services and generate interest. Qualification: Assess and qualify leads based on their needs and potential fit the company’s offerings. Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential clients and key decision-makers. Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to effectively position the company’s solutions. Reporting: Track and report on key performance metrics, including lead generation activities, conversion rates, and sales pipeline status. Qualifications: Experience: Proven experience in a business development, sales, or related role, preferably within the technology or IT services industry. Skills: Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers. Knowledge: Understanding of technology solutions, IT services, and industry trends is a plus. Tools: Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and other sales tools. Base salary is $60,000 - $65,000 per year with first year realistic of $80,000 - $85,000.
