Contract to hire, App DeveloperJob SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer / BI Developer with strong expertise in SQL, Power BI, and Snowflake to design, build, and optimize scalable data solutions. This role focuses on delivering high-quality data models, pipelines, and visualizations that drive business insights and operational efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and optimize data models and pipelines in Snowflake for scalable analytics and reporting.Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI, delivering actionable business insights.Write and optimize advanced T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and jobs for high-performance data processing.Develop and manage ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL Server, SSIS, and Snowflake.Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance tuning across SQL Server and Snowflake environments.Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and performance bottlenecks across systems.Support and enhance SSRS reporting solutions for operational needs (including factory floor reporting).Integrate data from multiple sources and third-party systems into centralized data platforms.Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into data solutions and dashboards.Required Skills & QualificationsExpert-level SQL / T-SQL (queries, performance tuning, stored procedures)Strong experience with Power BI (DAX, data modeling, dashboards, visualization best practices)Hands-on experience with Snowflake (data warehousing, modeling, optimization)Experience with ETL/ELT processes (SSIS or similar tools)Solid experience with SQL Server and SSMSExperience with SSRS reportingStrong understanding of data architecture, warehousing, and analytics pipelinesPreferred / Supporting SkillsExperience with .NET Core, C#, and API developmentFamiliarity with Angular / front-end developmentExperience working in manufacturing or operational environmentsKnowledge of cloud-based data ecosystemsSoft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work with large, complex datasetsExcellent communication with both technical and business usersProactive and performance-focused mindset
