This role ensures material flow, production schedules, and delivery commitments are aligned with customer requirements. The position works cross-functionally with manufacturing, supply chain, and program teams to resolve constraints, monitor production status, and drive on-time delivery performance within a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment.Essential Duties:Coordinate and execute scheduling activities for assigned part numbers using an advanced planning systemMonitor and address material shortages, outside processing, and hardware delivery schedulesIdentify and respond to material plans that do not meet customer or production requirementsTrack and support implementation of corrective action plansMaintain and manage production schedules based on master schedule, cycle times, tooling, and capacity constraintsMonitor supply and demand alignment and collaborate with manufacturing to resolve gapsServe as a key point of contact for assigned programs to ensure delivery dates are metCoordinate cross-functional teams to resolve bottlenecks, shortages, maintenance issues, and manpower constraintsEnsure timely shipment of products to customersPrepare and release work orders and production plans as requiredInterface with demand planning, scheduling, supply chain, configuration control, and customer service teamsMaintain accurate traceability of manufacturing records and internal transfersAnalyze production data to identify schedule risks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunitiesSupport initiatives to reduce inventory, improve service levels, and reduce total operational costsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college OR High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years of production planning or related aerospace experienceExperience in production control, planning, material control, or related manufacturing environmentStrong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and complex data analysisExperience Using ERP Planning Systems (Epicor Preferred)Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsUnderstanding of manufacturing workflows and production scheduling principlesPreferred:Aerospace manufacturing experienceExperience in Lean or Six Sigma environmentsStrong understanding of supply chain coordination and MRP systemsPrior experience working in cross-functional production teamsBenefits:Competitive salary and performance-based compensationMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement planPaid time off and holidaysCareer development and growth opportunitiesDynamic aerospace manufacturing environmentDisclaimer: The compensation and benefits information in this posting represent a good faith and reasonable estimate of what it might pay for this position .
