Reporting to the Global Senior Manager of Business Intelligence, you will aid in the administration of our Microsoft Fabric ecosystem—leveraging ETL functions to produce a high-performance business‑ready data framework. Your primary mission is to empower our BI Analysts by building flexible, organized, and efficient data objects within Fabric that follow firm data governance guidelines. Acting as a critical bridge between the core Azure engineering team and multi‑functional business stakeholders, you will not only build the data objects that drive company‑wide strategy but also define and contribute to the standards for data health and governance within our analytics environment, with special attention to Microsoft Fabric Workspaces.\n\nSupervisory Responsibilities\nThis position has no supervisory responsibilities for this role.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\n\nManage data warehouses and lakehouses in MS Fabric.\n\nDevelop data pipelines using Data Factory objects and PySpark in MS Fabric.\n\nAdministrate Fabric workspace access and connections.\n\nDesign and implement automated data freshness and monitoring for pipeline failures and data latency.\n\nWrite enduring and adjustable SQL while navigating a complex database.\n\nWork with a variety of partners such as Sales, Marketing, Events, Recognition, etc.\n\nAssist in production and maintenance of a flexible library of Semantic Models ready for visualization and analysis.\n\nAssist in defining and enforcing data naming conventions and workspace folder structures to ensure a scalable Global BI self‑service environment.\n\nSupport defining, documenting, and enforcing a business ready data dictionary.\n\nPrepare the environment for future scaling to support complex transformations and AI readiness.\n\nManaging CI/CD processes in a Fabric environment via GitHub integration.\n\nQualifications and Experience\nRequired\n\nBachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent/higher.\n\n2–4 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or comparable fields.\n\nMastery of T‑SQL for warehouse management and complex data modeling (DDL and DML required, DQL preferred).\n\nFunctional knowledge of DAX for Semantic Modeling.\n\nExperience connecting to and extracting data from REST/SOAP APIs via Data Factory objects and/or PySpark.\n\nFunctional knowledge of PySpark/Python.\n\nFamiliarity with the Fabric Ecosystem, specifically an understanding of Lakehouses, Data Warehouses, and Semantic Models.\n\nGeneral understanding of Star Schema design in support of BI reporting.\n\nKnowledgeable with Power Query / Dataflows / Data Pipelines.\n\nPracticed attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem solving.\n\nExcellent written, verbal, and communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally in a team environment.\n\nComfort with adapting and adjusting to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change.\n\nPreferred\n\nExperience in a network marketing organization.\n\nDatabricks SQL/Python.\n\nManaging RLS logic tables.\n\nAPI connectivity handling pagination and OAuth tokens.\n\nProcess oriented mindset.\n\nComfortable with providing organized and efficient project updates.\n\nProactive mentality with a desire for self‑improvement.\n\nDriven by opportunity for innovation and professional independence.\n\nWork Environment & Physical Demands\nLifeWave will operate as an in‑office organization, and all employees are required to work onsite in alignment with corporate policy. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to work at a computer workstation and be mobile within the office.
