Position will start as part-time during the assessment period. We are a growing national company looking for motivated individuals to join our team of drywall repair specialists. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, articulate, outgoing, personable and presentable, and can follow a specific process to perform quality drywall repairs.\nRole and Responsibilities\nThe technician is expected to perform drywall repair, drywall installation, or general home repair. This may include drywall and plaster repair/installation, painting, insulation replacement, and trim repair/replacement.\nResponsibilities include:\nProvide excellent customer experience: Show up on time, Perform Excellent work, Clean up thoroughly after the job is complete\nEnsuring all equipment and materials are used safely and effectively\nPerform drywall repairs, match textures, smooth and remove textures, install insulation, install floorboards/trim, and paint repairs/walls\nManage and maintain all the required equipment for the job\nReport any job-related issues to supervisor\nPerform other duties as assigned\nQualifications and Education Requirements\n5+ years of proven experience in finishing drywall including texture matching. With references.\n10+ years of proven experience in hanging, installing, patching, and repairing drywall. With references.\nExceptional customer service skills\nAbility to communicate effectively with the customer\nDesire to learn and improve\nWillingness to learn and apply the PatchMaster Way\nSmartphone with a data plan (company will pay a stipend for data usage)\nReliable transportation and a clean driving record (company vehicle will be provided after completion of probationary period)\nAbility to pass a criminal background check.\nAbility to pass a drug screening.\nValid driver’s license\nAbility to crawl, climb, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend, kneel, crouch, stand for long periods of time, lift, and hold excess of 62 lbs.\nAbility to perform work in hot, cold, humid, and wet conditions depending on the location.\nAbility to perform work from heights, using ladders and scaffolds.\nAdditional Notes\nCandidates are required to possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and pass a pre-employment background investigation and drug test.\nPay Rate based on experience and qualifications. Pay is by project, paying 20% to 25% of project value plus non-project hours calculated using the appropriate hourly pay rate and actual hours worked on non-project efforts.
