You will work at customer locations installing and configuring IP cameras, PoE switches, network equipment, firewalls, wireless systems, and video management systems.\n\nYou will also be responsible significant plus*, as CMS also designs and supports business telephone and hosted VoIP systems.\n\nKey ResponsibilitiesIP Camera & Video Surveillance\n\n* Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot Cat6/Cat6A cabling for IP cameras and security systems\n* Physically install indoor and outdoor IP cameras, including mounting, aiming, focusing, and final positioning\n* Install and configure PoE switches and other network infrastructure supporting camera systems\n* Configure IP addresses, network settings, and camera parameters\n* Configure and deploy network video recorders (NVRs) and video management systems (VMS)\n* Configure video recording, retention, motion detection, analytics, and user permissions\n* Perform camera commissioning and system testing\n* Troubleshoot cameras that are offline, experiencing connectivity issues, or not recording properly\n* Perform system upgrades, camera replacements, and expansions of existing surveillance systems\n* Assist with site surveys and determine appropriate camera locations, mounting requirements, network requirements, and cable paths\n* Work with platforms such as Milesight, Orchid VMS, Digifort, and other IP-based security technologies\n\nNetwork Infrastructure\n\n* Design and configure networks supporting IP cameras, access control, VoIP, and other connected systems\n* Configure managed switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless equipment\n* Create and troubleshoot VLANs and network segmentation\n* Configure DHCP, DNS, routing, NAT, port forwarding, and VPN connectivity\n* Configure PoE infrastructure and strong, hands-on, dependable, and comfortable working directly at customer locations.*\n\nRequired\n\n* Experience with IP networking and network troubleshooting\n* Understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, subnetting, and routing\n* Experience configuring managed switches and network equipment\n* Hands-on experience with PoE networking\n* Ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues using tools such as ping, traceroute, cable testers, and network discovery/scanning tools\n* Ability to read basic network diagrams and installation drawings\n* Comfortable installing and working with network-connected equipment\n* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation\n* Ability to work from ladders and lifts when required for camera installation\n* Ability to occasionally lift and
