{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"6fd8cd4c6439b12a3acd53c8","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/6fd8cd4c6439b12a3acd53c8","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/6fd8cd4c6439b12a3acd53c8","title":"Pre/Post-Press Manager","description":"Summary: The Pre/Post-Press Supervisor is responsible for ensuring high quality inks and screens are\nproduced on schedule, maintaining old screens in good condition, repairing\nscreens and supervising the work of the Ink Mixers, Samplers, Screen Technicians,\nWash Bay and Darkroom employees.\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS\nThe essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not necessarily limited to:\nOversee screen operations to ensure smooth operation.\nContinuously review best practices methodologies and procedures that enhance quality and services, ensure safe workplace practices, and personnel development.\nEnsure all new screens are completed on schedule and ensure there is always a supply of screens that are ready to go.\nAssist production by repairing screens that break down during the production cycle and by ensuring that needed screens are in good repair and running condition.\nMaintain an adequate stock of supplies needed in Pre/Post-Press area; library meshes, emulsions, tapes, glue, inks, pigments, stencil cleaner etc.\nOversee that all screens are coated, printed by the i-Image, and taped for at least 2 days worth of scheduled print jobs.\nEnsure i-Image, Eco-Rinse, and Eco-Tex maintenance checklist are completed according to the manufacturers recommended schedule.\nLead Screen Techs; delegate and schedule tasks to ensure deadlines are met.\nOversee the re-stretching of screens and proper rotation of the screen inventory.\nWork with the Ink tech and mixer to make sure we are at least 2 days ahead with premixed inks.\nEnsure cleanliness and organization standards of the screen area.
