This candidate is going to have one of the most critical roles in a successful software delivery team, possessing a broad variety of technical and soft skills.\r\nKEY EXPECTATIONS\r\nImplement new features using Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) scripting language based on JavaScript\r\nImplement front-end features using jQuery library\r\nCreate and maintain code documentation\r\nDebug and troubleshoot software defects\r\nImplements Digital Consumer experiences based on a foundation of SFCC (Salesforce commerce cloud) to meet expected quality standards.\r\nParticipates in Agile sprints and design, develop, test and implement changes as defined by business requirements.\r\nImplement proofs of concept to prove any new technologies or integration scenarios and identify customization's needed to SFCC platform for meeting client requirements.\r\nIntegrate commerce cloud with 3rd party/back-end systems leveraging link cartridge/OCAPI/custom services while ensuring scalability, performance and coding guidelines.\r\nDiagnose and solve technical problems during implementation and support phases in a timely manner.\r\nHelp team/client with Business Manager configuration and administration.\r\nBuild reusable cartridge/components.\r\nImplement build and release management using CI/CD strategies (leveraging tools like Jenkins and\r\nDevOps practices), implement Mocha/Chai unit and functional test cases in order to reduce costs while ensuring quality.\r\nLead discussions with internal business partners to identify needs and translate business requirements into detail functional specifications and technical solutions.\r\nCommunicate efficiently and accurately with the Project Manager and report any progress and/or delays.\r\nDESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE\r\nSalesforce Certified Commerce Cloud Digital Developer Required\r\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field\r\n3+ years of developer experience within the Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware)\r\n2+ years of experience in a client facing role\r\nStrong knowledge of JavaScript (both server and client side) and at least one other major programming language\r\nExperience working in all phases of the software development life-cycle from requirements gathering to final delivery and support\r\nSolid understanding of basic eCommerce concepts, such as catalog architecture, pricing and inventory management strategies, payment processors, and technologies that support a successful eCommerce strategy such as PIM, OMS, and ERP\r\nExperience with supporting and/or implementing public-facing eCommerce websites\r\nStrong experience on major eCommerce platforms\r\nSelf-driven and motivated\r\nExceptional problem-solving skills and a fantastic attention to detail\r\nEmployer's Rights:\r\nPeoplevisor, LLC. has the right to revise this job description at any time.
