In this critical role as a Network Technician you will be responsible for all aspects of working in the physical Central Office.\r\nAs a Network Technician you will be required to work overtime and weekends.\r\nAs Network Technician your responsibilities will include\r\nSupporting and maintaining all switching equipment in Central Offices\r\nKeeping all backup generators in optimum condition\r\nInstalling, supporting, and maintaining special circuits and being capable of working within the TIRKS system\r\nMonitoring and supporting all switch alarm activity\r\nInstalling, supporting, and maintaining fiber and copper networks\r\nSupporting and maintaining transport networks and central power platforms\r\nQualifications\r\nWHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE\r\nFamiliarity with both inside and outside plant cabling practices\r\nSelf-motivated and able to drive issues to resolution\r\nAbility to promote and sell Brightspeed services\r\nKnowledge of safety rules and regulations\r\nAbility to work well with both customers and fellow peers.\r\nAdditional Information\r\nWHY JOIN US?\r\nWe aspire to contemporary ways of working.\r\nRecognized as a Top Workplace by the Charlotte Observer, Brightspeed HQ is located on the 7th floor of the new Vantage South End – East Tower in Charlotte, NC.
