Maintenance Mechanic – JLLWhat this job involves:The Maintenance Mechanic plays a vital role in ensuring the operational excellence of assigned facilities by supporting the inspection, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Working both independently and alongside MES Mobile Engineers, you'll be responsible for maintaining facility equipment, conducting inspections, and performing repairs to interior and exterior areas including walls, flooring, fixtures, roofing systems, and lighting. This hands-on position directly contributes to JLL's commitment to delivering exceptional facility operations and creating safe, functional environments that support our clients' business objectives.What your day-to-day will look like:Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other installed systems through work order management and CMMS systems like 360 Facility.Conduct facility inspections and due diligence assessments, documenting conditions that impact client occupancy and operations while escalating issues to customers and management promptly.Execute general interior maintenance tasks including hanging pictures, installing keyboard trays, repairing office furniture systems, doors, replacing lighting and ballasts, and moving office furniture and equipment as needed.Maintain HVAC systems by cleaning coils, changing filters and belts, and supporting the operations team with building and equipment repairs.Complete hazard assessments, comply with all safety procedures and regulations, maintain vehicle safety inspections, and practice defensive driving at all times.Submit P-card receipts daily, update work order status in real time, and attend required work and safety meetings.Ensure safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials while maintaining compliance with State, County, and City ordinances, codes, and laws.Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 1-3 years of applicable working experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and basic electrical work. Valid state driver's license in good standing with ability to pass background, drug/alcohol, and MVR screening process. Physical capability to lift up to 80 lbs, climb up to 30-foot ladders, and perform frequent climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, and driving. Proficiency in utilizing CMMS systems for work order management and documentation. All required licenses as mandated by the authority having jurisdiction and completion of all scheduled safety trainings. Preferred Qualifications: 3rd party certifications related to facility maintenance, mechanical systems, or building trades. Strong customer service skills with demonstrated ability to interact professionally with clients and building occupants. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Experience with 360 Facility or similar CMMS platforms.
