temporary certificates of occupancy, certificates of occupancy, permit sign-offs, and project closeout approvals.\nVisit city offices or project sites when necessary to submit documents, attend meetings, or support inspection coordination.\nConstruction Administration\nAssist with RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, change orders, and material approvals.\nMaintain RFI, submittal, permit, inspection, and change-order logs.\nReview subcontractor submissions for completeness before forwarding them to the Project Manager or design team.\nAssist with bid comparisons, subcontractor scopes, cost tracking, and purchase orders.\nCoordinate with subcontractors regarding schedules, required inspections, approved plans, and construction requirements.\nAssist in reviewing project schedules and identifying potential delays or coordination issues.\nTrack long-lead materials, equipment deliveries, and outstanding procurement items.\nSupport document control and ensure the project team is working from the latest approved drawings.\nField Coordination\nParticipate in project site visits and construction meetings.\nDocument construction progress, field conditions, and outstanding issues.\nAssist the Project Manager and Superintendent with resolving field coordination items.\nHelp confirm that required inspections are requested before work is covered or completed.\nCoordinate with subcontractors to prepare work areas for city or agency inspections.\nMaintain records of inspection approvals, correction notices, photographs, and field reports.\nAssist with punch-list tracking and project closeout documentation.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.\nApproximately 1–3 years of experience in general contracting, construction management, project engineering, permitting, or project coordination is preferred.\nExperience working with city building departments, permit applications, plan checks, or construction inspections is strongly preferred.\nBasic understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.\nFamiliarity with RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, change orders, and construction schedules.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nAbility to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and follow-up items.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nComfortable communicating with government agencies, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project, is preferred.\nExperience with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Autodesk Construction
