We are seeking an Application Engineer to be a foundational member of our North American team. This is a unique opportunity for a technical leader to help launch and scale a transformative communication platform in the enterprise market from the ground up.\n\nJob Summary\n\nThe Application Engineer (AE) at SENA is the hands-on technical expert for our next-generation communication solution in North America. You will work side by side with the Sales team and Channel Partners (Radio Dealers, MSPs, and System Integrators), taking the product into customer sites to demonstrate, install, and validate it in real working conditions.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Customer Site Demos & Partner Enablement\n\nJoin sales meetings and customer visits as the technical expert, running live product demos and answering technical questions.\n\nLead hands-on Proof of Concept (PoC) installations at customer sites, and document results to validate performance.\n\nTrain channel partners to install the system and handle first-line troubleshooting on their own.\n\n2. Deployment Support & Product Feedback\nSupport partners on-site and remotely when issues come up in the field, and stay close to early deployments until they are stable.\nCollect field feedback and feature requests, and share them with R&D to inform the product roadmap.\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent hands-on experience).\n3–5 years of hands-on experience installing, testing, or commissioning electronic, wireless, or RF equipment at customer or field sites. Field applications, hardware validation, systems integration, or two-way radio / AV installation backgrounds are all relevant.\nComfortable working directly with end customers and partners in real-world environments such as warehouses, job sites, and plants.\nAble to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences and to work closely with Sales, R&D, and partners.\nSelf-motivated, with good judgment for spotting problems early.\nWillingness to travel up to 50% (initially DFW region), expanding across North America as the business grows.\n\nPreferred (plus) Qualifications\n\nExperience with wireless communication products such as Wi-Fi, Digital Mobile Radio, Bluetooth, Mesh, or two-way radio systems.\n\nExperience with RF/electronics test equipment or device-level troubleshooting.\n\nExperience training or mentoring partner or third-party technicians.\n\nCompany Overview:\n\nSENA is a global leader in innovative communication systems, offering advanced connectivity solutions for adventure enthusiasts and professionals.
