We are seeking dynamic professionals who embody our core values of Integrity, Commitment, and Excellence to join our growing Crew in support of our customers across the federal, state, and commercial markets.\nWe are seeking a Systems Administrator to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nWork closely with a team to provide high quality, innovative system administration services to the Government customer.\nWork with a team to identify and define requirements for new systems/system modifications, developing designs, and implementing and testing solutions.\nEnsure daily system monitoring, system backup and restoral, and application upgrades to ensure optimal and continuous system operations.\nBe responsible for ensuring system software installations, maintenance, break/fix activities, and cyber security mitigations are performed in accordance with established policies, procedures and service level agreements.\nCoordinate with hardware and software vendors and participate in all vendor-required activities, such as quarterly infrastructure reviews.\nThe successful candidate will:\nHave a firm understanding of Windows and Linux (Rel 8) operating systems.\nHave excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate effective and efficient interchanges with various members of the team and stakeholders.\nWhat You Bring\nBasic Requirements:\nMust have 10, or more, years of general (full-time) work experience\nMay be reduced with completion of advanced education\nMust have 5, or more, years of directly related/specialized experience in a computer operations environment performing systems administration of either Windows or Linux Systems\nMust have experience working with virtual environments.\nMust have a current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or higher (Security+).\nMust have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance\nDesired Requirements:\nHave experience administering a Red Hat Linux environment using Red Hat Identity Management (IdM) Servers.\nHave experience managing Windows Active Directory and Group Policy Objects.\nHave experience conducting log analysis to assess root cause analysis.\nHave comprehensive knowledge of Virtualization infrastructure.\nHave DoD networking experience with classified data networks and strong grasp of red/black concepts and IA compliance.\nDesirable Certifications CompTIA Linux+, CompTIA Network+, RHCSA and knowledge in Juniper Networks.\nWhy LaunchTech?\nLaunchTech is built on a single standard: Excellence, Period.
