Checking resin quantity and type behind each active extruder on a continuous basis.\n\nJOB DUTIES:\n\nUnderstand and follow safe work practices\nBring materials and cut cores\nCheck resin levels\nCheck and verify silo connections at start of shift against the work order to ensure correct resin usage\nAssist with change over, start-ups, and shut downs\nWeb the line\nPerform quality control checks and document results on quality check sheet\nCycle and unload winders\nEnter production and downtime information into the DCU. Make and print finished goods labels for inventory.\nDocument downtime and production on production report\nWeigh/stage production\nTake care of extrusion lines while operator is busy or on break\nProperly clean out resin system\nDrive forklift\nMaintain area in clean and organized manner\nWrap pallets\nKnow how to operate bale machine\nPerform other related duties as directed by the appropriate party, including but not limited to: housekeeping and assisting other employees in the performance of their jobs.\nWork in a team environment and conduct yourself in a professional manner when working with other employees and/or contractors.\nEnsure Safe Manufacturing Practices are being followed on daily basis.\n\nMINIMUM KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:\n\nBasic computer skills\nAbility to do basic math\nAbility to read a tape measure\n\nABILITIES REQUIRED:\n\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds\nAbility to stand for long periods on hard surfaces\nAbility to climb 60 feet\nAbility to perform in an environment that is not climate-controlled\n\nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
