Join our team. #CloroxIsThePlace\n\nYour role at Clorox:\n\nThe Packaging department's purpose is to produce high quality finished cases of product in a safe and efficient manner that meets customer requirements and minimizes costs. The purpose of this position is to operate and changeover limited equipment and inspect finished goods and packaging materials for defects. This position must be able to act as a backup for line operators in their absence. Day to day general direction is provided by the Lead Operator and the Packaging Manager.\n\nStarting Hourly Rate: $29.00 per hour + $0.95 Shift Differential\nWork Hours: Monday - Friday 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM\n\nIn this role, you will:\n\nMachine operation for equipment identified in checklists.\nMachine changeovers for equipment and verification checklists.\nPerform preventative maintenance work on assigned packaging line equipment.\nPerform all required quality control checks, record data as required and follow up appropriately.\nMaterial handling of all supplies and packaging materials needed for assigned packaging line.\nMES and EWM system execution and monitoring\nComplete all department multiskilled training checklist requirements up to and including Block 6\n\nWhat we look for:\n\n1-3 years production experience preferred.\n1-year fork truck experience preferred.\nDemonstrated Leadership Experience\nDemonstrated Communication Skills\nAdvanced troubleshooting/process improvement/root cause analysis experience\nDemonstrated Project Management Experience\nSelf-motivated work behavior\nAbility to influence other operators to further department objectives.\nIn-depth knowledge of all department equipment and ability to communicate and train others on how to operate and troubleshoot equipment.\nExceptional organizational skills\nIntermediate to advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office applications, MES, EWM, SAP)\nKnowledge of product packaging standards\nAll required safety and regulatory training\nAbility to climb ladders, drive rail king, and work in semi-confined or confined areas required.\n\nOur values-based culture connects to our purpose and empowers people to be their best, professionally and personally.
