Senior Business Systems Analyst - Digital Asset Management (IntelligenceBank)Position OverviewOur client's Digital Asset Management (DAM) team supports a large-scale creative and marketing ecosystem, ensuring consistent, efficient asset flow across the organization. They are seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to lead discovery, document business and technical requirements, and help evolve DAM workflows and system capabilities.This role partners closely with DAM leadership, technical teams, and creative stakeholders to improve system adoption, optimize processes, and support day-to-day DAM operations.Work Schedule: Remote flexible, but candidates who can work hybrid onsite approximately 2-days per week in Chicago, IL are preferredSchedule: 40 hours per week, ~8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CSTOn-site/remote days: Flexible based on business needs12 months + Permalance Opportunity Discovery & Requirements Analysis (50%)Lead stakeholder interviews and discovery sessions to gather business and technical requirementsConduct gap analysis between current and future state systemsDocument business processes, user stories, workflows, and system requirements Create workflow diagrams, process maps, and technical documentation, system configurations and integration requirementsBusiness Analysis & Process Optimization (30%)Manage relationships with major user groups and socialize system updatesSupport the Sr DAM Manager on the system governance squadConduct needs assessments and translate findings into technical and functional specificationsSocialize UDL updates and changes with client groups, Support process adoption with training and change management, end user training Develop working knowledge of creative asset lifecycles, from commission and production through ingestion, approval, distribution, and archiving, to better anticipate stakeholder needs and inform system workflows.Asset Management & Operations (20%)Intake and track client catalog requests, managing updates and roadblocksCollaborate with UDL DAM Manager on system administration and best practices, and PM on tasking architecture Assist w/ day to day operations, KPI tracking, and cataloging requestsPerform large-scale data analysis using a scripting language (e.g., Python or R) to surface enhancement opportunities and maintain system healthReport automation - Power BI, Data VisualizationAdept at creating and maintaining software documentation, field mapping, and data decomposition Scripting / Automation Comfortable working in a potentially low AI environmentBasic understanding of APIs, databases, and system integrations Hard Qualifications5-7 years of professional experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar roleProven track record of leading discovery and documenting business/technical requirementsExperience with digital asset management systems; IntelligenceBank strongly preferredBackground working with metadata standards and digital asset taxonomyExperience collaborating with technical and nontechnical teams and translating requirements for developersDemonstrated ability to conduct gap analysis and document system requirementsDemonstrated experience running data analysis to inform decisionsPreferred QualificationsPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related fieldData analysis skills and understanding of database structuresExperience with data modeling and system architecture documentationPrevious experience at an agency or large corporationUnderstanding of photography concepts, methodologies, and digital media workflowsExperience with Adobe Creative SuiteFamiliarity with brand management and creative operations In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.BenefitsCreative Circle's Freelance Employee benefits package includes eligibility for Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) medical plan, dental/vision/term life package, discount prescription program, critical illness, accident, tele-behavioral health, and 401(k) plan.
