Job Title: Software DeveloperLocation: Albany, NYJob DescriptionMandatory Qualification Is involved with all facets of the software development process, including the research, design, programming, testing and implementation of computer software. Workers Compensation Board (WCB) has a series of funded modernization initiatives aimed at modernizing its critical technology applications and supporting platforms. The WCB requires assistance with the development support, maintenance, and enhancement of the Health Provider Administration (HPA) system during the initiatives. Participate in meetings to gather business requirements Conduct and participate in technical design meetings Document requirements and solutions Create technical specifications based on approved business requirements Design, code, test, and implement software modules Review code and test results of other programmers Create physical database work tables and temporary tables and indexes Coordinate and conduct Unit, System and Stress testing Helpdesk Tickets (Day to Day questions, issues, and enhancements).
