Perform a variety of work in the maintenance and repair of buildings at various facilities/sites including electrical, plumbing, masonry, and carpentry. Assist with other elements of projects as assigned. Adding or replacing water fountains. Work locations include the main university campus and all off-campus properties. Emergency overtime and after hour callbacks required.Required EducationHigh School diploma or High Equivalency (HSE) required. Ability to obtain backflow testing certification within six month probationary period required.Required Related ExperienceThree years of direct experience with increasingly responsible building and plant maintenance work to include knowledge of electrical, plumbing, providing material take offs for preliminary scheduling, masonry and concrete work, carpentry, or painting.Required License/Registration/CertificationValid Tennessee drivers license required.Desirable Related ExperienceFive years direct electrician experience with increasing responsibility in building and plant maintenance desired.
