We’re looking for someone with a positive, upbeat attitude, strong work ethic, and a heartfelt desire to make a difference in the lives and health of our patients.Minimum RequirementsARRT(R) certificationCurrent Florida Radiologic Technologist licenseBLS certificationHigh School Diploma or GEDAt least 1 year of experience in a clinical setting preferredEssential Job FunctionsTake patient medical history prior to examsCorrectly interpret doctors’ scanning instructionsExplain procedures to reduce patient anxiety and gain cooperationPosition patients and use immobilization devices to obtain optimum viewsSet technical parameters, operate X-ray equipment, and monitor image dataEvaluate images for technical quality and determine if repeats are neededAssist radiologists with procedures such as arthrogramsSupport other modalities or departments as neededNon-Essential Job FunctionsRestock suppliesRoutinely sanitize exam and waiting roomsPhysical & Working RequirementsAbility to sit, bend, and stand for extended periodsAble to lift up to 25 pounds from ground to waist levelKey CompetenciesDependableFlexibleCompassionateStrong time management and communication skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentWork AvailabilityThis is a PRN (as-needed) position.
