Our approach is harm-reduction, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. We primarily serve individual adults and couples, through multiple venues and projects, including shelters, Safe Sleep Sites, and outreach services.\nOur FLEX team fulfills all logistics and basic client support within our camps, shelters, and other sites. The FLEX Support worker has working knowledge of camp rules and processes, and assists clients in gaining access to basic needs. This position may include light janitorial, cleaning, and maintenance duties. This position requires high attention to detail and ability to follow directions from the FLEX Manager.\nEssential job tasks to be performed:\nAfter completion of training period, maintains punctual time and regular hours\nDemonstrates good judgment regarding completing tasks while maintaining professional boundaries and safety\nProvides basic support to clients within our sites\nDelivers supplies to assigned sites\nReports relevant and accurate information to FLEX Manager\nUtilizes appropriate channels of communication\nCommunicates realistic expectations to clients\nParticipates in team documentation as assigned\nFollows direction of FLEX manager in daily assignments\nPreferred knowledge, skills, experience, education or training needed to perform job:\nHigh School Diploma or GED\n1+ years client service experience, preferably in human services or customer service, possess demonstrated commitment to client service\nProfessional or personal experience supporting individuals from vulnerable populations with disabilities, mental illnesses, or challenging behaviors highly preferred\nPreferred A valid in-state driver’s license, provide current registration and insurance, and have a driving record with no more than 2 points within the last 3 years.\nPreferred training in First Aid / CPR, food handler’s card, Blood Borne Pathogens and Hazardous Materials.\nPreferred experience in driving a forklift, U-haul trucks\nQualities needed to perform job:\nExcellent interpersonal communication skills\nComfortable working with a wide variety of personalities with\nWilling to collaborate and take direction from supervisors\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\nAccurate and timely documentation\nIntegrityand strong work ethic\nMust be over 21 years old\nFlexibility in a fast-paced environment\nPhysical Demands\nMust interpret spoken and written communication in English.\nFluency in additional language is a plus\nMust be able to move around for periods of time (3-4 hours).\nMay need to lift boxes and stacks of supplies.
