Training formats include remote group classroom delivery, one-on-one coaching, practice sessions, workshop rollouts, hybrid training, and synchronous virtual facilitation. Provides in-person new hire technology orientation for attorneys and staff in the Washington, D.C. office, consistent with firmwide onboarding standards.Creates and prepares training and reference materials such as quick reference guides, training manuals, tip sheets, online tutorials, and e-learning content. Develops practical AI adoption resources including prompting guides, use case libraries, and workflow-specific guidance to support effective adoption of AI tools across the firm.Communicates proactively with end users to ensure learning needs are clarified, effectively addressed, and resolved with appropriate urgency. Ensures end user satisfaction; maintains accountability throughout resolution, including when issues are delegated or handed off.Meets with attorney and staff groups to identify training needs firmwide, and designs, delivers, and evaluates customized programs to address them.•       Regularly applies learning and expertise to develop solutions and processes to anticipate future application issues, including emerging AI tool adoption patterns.•       Participates in the development of new training programs and initiatives, such as virtual office hours, Tech Tips, and AI adoption campaigns. Edits and modifies existing firmwide content and develops learning content for small-scale projects as needed.•       Provides professional interpretation of technology concepts — including AI capabilities and appropriate use — for colleagues through coaching and knowledge sharing.AI Fluency and Digital Adoption•       Maintains working knowledge of the firm’s AI tools and platforms, including their capabilities, appropriate use cases, and limitations within a legal environment.•       Coaches attorneys and staff on practical AI use, including prompt construction, workflow integration, and responsible AI practices.•       Supports the rollout of new AI tools and digital adoption initiatives by designing and delivering targeted training content and reinforcement resources.•       Participates in AI tool evaluations and pilots as a training subject matter resource, providing feedback on learnability, adoption barriers, and end-user experience.•       Stays current on developments in legal AI, identifying training implications and surfacing relevant insights to the training team.Knowledge and Professional Development•       Remains current on industry trends in information technology, adult learning, AI, and the legal profession.•       Ensures current knowledge of firm software applications and hardware, including AI-powered tools, and maintains comprehensive expertise in training and facilitation.•       Maintains awareness of firm practice areas, personnel, and business practices, ensuring personal interactions reflect knowledge of the firm’s operations.•       Participates in team and departmental meetings.Client Service, Confidentiality, and Safety•       Consistently promotes and models the Firm’s Client Service Principles in leadership, teamwork, work product, and personal interaction.•       Ensures compliance with the Firm’s Information Handling Policy, including safeguarding confidential and personal information, and reporting any suspected breach appropriately and immediately.•       Adheres to the Firm’s General Safety Practices and any unique safety practices for department and building.QUALIFICATIONSEducation and Experience•       College degree and coursework in information technology, instructional design, or related fields preferred.•       Five or more years of experience in technical training and content authoring, including the design, development, and delivery of training programs and reference materials.•       Strong knowledge of Windows OS required; in-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 programs, including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and OneDrive.•       Familiarity with AI tools and platforms — such as Microsoft Copilot, generative AI assistants, or legal-specific AI applications — and demonstrated ability to translate AI capabilities into practical, user-facing training.•       Skilled in the use of Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and other online collaboration tools to facilitate training. Skilled in e-learning authoring software such as Articulate Rise, Camtasia, Snagit, and EasyGenerator.•       Recent and relevant certification strongly desired, including in AI tools or digital adoption methodologies.•       Knowledgeable in project management standards and guidelines.•       Law firm or professional services experience strongly preferred.•       Experience using and administering a Learning Management System (LMS) preferred.Teamwork and Applied Skills•       Ability to assess learning needs, identify gaps, and deliver responsive, effective training solutions.
