Operate specialized equipment such as bucket trucks, digger derricks, and line trucks safely and efficiently. Conduct inspections of power lines and equipment to identify potential issues and perform necessary repairs. Respond promptly to emergency outages and restore power with minimal disruption. Follow all safety protocols and industry standards to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members and other departments to coordinate work activities and ensure project completion. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and safety inspections.Skills And Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in electrical or power line work preferred. Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Proven experience as a Powerline Operator or similar role in electrical distribution. Knowledge of electrical systems, safety procedures, and industry regulations. Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions. Strong physical stamina, manual dexterity, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
