Principal Engineer - Enterprise Cloud Security
IntroductionAs a Principal Engineer in Enterprise Cloud Security, you will be responsible for leading the deployment and management of Zscaler, Palo Alto, and Global Protect VPN solutions. You will play a crucial role in the transformation and modernization of our network infrastructure to ensure a secure and efficient cloud environment. This position requires a deep understanding of cloud security best practices and a strong background in network modernization.ResponsibilitiesLead the deployment and configuration of Zscaler cloud security solutions.Manage and optimize Palo Alto and Global Protect VPN for secure remote access.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement Zero Trust architecture.Drive network modernization initiatives to enhance security and performance.Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company security policies.Provide technical expertise and guidance on cloud security best practices.Lead migration efforts to transition to a more secure and efficient cloud environment.Monitor and analyze security incidents, providing timely resolution and mitigation.Stay current on emerging technologies and trends in cloud security.Train and mentor junior engineers on best practices and technologies.RequirementsRequired Skills:Experience deploying and managing Zscaler cloud security solutions.Proficiency in configuring and optimizing Palo Alto and Global Protect VPN.Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture principles and implementation.Strong background in network modernization and transformation projects.Ability to lead and drive security initiatives in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Proven track record of successfully implementing cloud security solutions.Preferred SkillsCertifications in cloud security or network security (e.g., CCSP, CISSP).Experience with other cloud security platforms and technologies.Knowledge of compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI DSS.Experience working in a highly regulated industry (e.g., healthcare, finance).Experience with DevSecOps practices and tools.
