Maintenance Electrician - 1st Shift

Summary:The QTI Group is seeking a Direct Hire Maintenance Electrician on 1st Shift in Northeastern Jefferson County. You will be responsible for maintaining or repairing equipment. Your responsibilities would include observing mechanical devices in operation to locate causes of trouble, fabricating, disassembling, and assembling production equipment to gain access to repair or remove defective parts.Hours: 1st shift Monday - Friday 6:00am-2:00pm, Flexible on start times between 6:00am - 8:00amPay: Up to $47.00/hrResponsibilities:Inspect electrical components including transformers and circuit breakersUse electrical knowledge to assess proper size wire needed in the installation of wiring and conduit systemsInstalls and programs electrical equipmentApplies ability to interpret PLC ladder logic programsResponsible for all electrical PMs throughout the facilityApplies general knowledge of carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, welding, painting and masonry work as needed.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent3+ years of prior Maintenance experienceFormal electrical certifications are desired, but not required.Experience with voltage from 240-480
