{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"6f3dec8d12ffdec0ee75eaa0","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/6f3dec8d12ffdec0ee75eaa0","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/6f3dec8d12ffdec0ee75eaa0","title":"Process Engineer","description":"Reporting to the Plant Manager, this position is responsible for ensuring that high-quality specifications and expectations, both internal and external, are met through inspection and testing of raw materials and finished goods.\nThe quality process engineer position focus areas include:\nOverall Plant process quality and projects related to maintaining or improving quality results.\nProjects focused on elimination of waste-events and customer returns.\nDaily monitoring of Plant quality activities.\nRCCA of customer complaints.\nThis position will work closely with the plant Quality Manager and Plant Operations to implement new procedures or processes to improve product quality and eliminate waste.\nWhat you’ll be doing:\nProvide daily review and feedback of in-process quality results.\nProvide leadership and direction on quality testing and issues in customer operations.\nWork closely with plant and division management on any quality issues.\nMaintain routine record-keeping of findings and dispositions of quality events.\nProvide the Quality Control lab with limits and test methods for new products and any changes to processes.\nKnowledge of all testing equipment and uses for the equipment.\nRecord keeping and computing statistics to evaluate all the testing and procedures.\nWork closely with the production team and lab techs when products do not meet specifications.\nWork in teams to improve product quality, or to reduce costs or related projects.\nMake Recommendations to improve testing.\nWork with outside vendors as needed.\nResponsible for Safety awareness, training, and ergonomic practices in the Office area.\nTo carry out duties and responsibilities in a positive way and in the spirit of cooperation and support of others.\nThis position is in Franklin, Ohio.\nWe’d love to hear from you if:\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, other science fields.\nExcellent organization, project management, and communication skills\nProficient in Root Cause Analysis techniques (FMEA’s, 5Why’s, ATS, etc.) and developing/implementing Countermeasures.\nProcess-oriented.
