You'll work with payment gateways, optimize transaction flows, and ensure system reliability.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain backend services for card payment processing using PHP (Symfony) and Golang.\r\nIntegrate and support payment service providers (PSPs) and acquirers (Adyen,Checkout.com , JP Morgan Chase, etc.)\r\nDesign and implement scalable, event-driven architectures for high-load payment systems\r\nWrite clean, testable code with comprehensive unit and functional test coverage\r\nOptimize database queries and data models for OLTP workloads (MySQL, MongoDB)\r\nCollaborate with the team on system design, code reviews, and technical decisions\r\nEnsure system observability and troubleshoot issues using ELK stack\r\nParticipate in CI/CD pipeline improvements and deployment processes\r\nRequired Qualifications3+ years of backend development experience with PHP and/or Golang in production environments\r\nHands-on experience with card payment processing and PSP/acquirer integrations\r\nUnderstanding of payment flows: authorization, capture, refunds, chargebacks, and reconciliation\r\nStrong knowledge of OOP principles, design patterns, and clean architecture\r\nProficiency in SQL, database design, and performance optimization\r\nExperience with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka) and caching layers (Redis)\r\nSolid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and their practical application\r\nExperience writing unit and integration tests\r\nNice to HaveKnowledge of PCI DSS compliance requirements and secure payment data handling\r\nUnderstanding of 3D Secure (3DS) authentication protocols\r\nExperience with tokenization and payment security best practices\r\nKnowledge of Apple Pay and Google Pay integration principles\r\nExperience with Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform\r\nFamiliarity with ELK stack for monitoring and logging\r\nPrevious work with high-load, mission-critical systems\r\nFrontend development experience with Angular\r\nTech Stack\r\nBackend:PHP 8 (Symfony, Doctrine), GolangDatabases:MySQL, MongoDB, RedisInfrastructure:Docker, Kubernetes, GCP, RabbitMQ, ELKWe may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
