{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"6f3c1d529084161e3a7cf715","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/6f3c1d529084161e3a7cf715","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/6f3c1d529084161e3a7cf715","title":"Machine Operator-2nd Shift","description":"PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. is currently seeking a 2nd Shift Machine Operator to work at the Freeport, IL Honeywell location.\nMon - Fri 2:30pm to 11pm\nOT available\nJob Summary\nThe Machine Set-Up and Operator ensures machinery is set up, works properly, and conforms with (and can produce materials that conform with) company quality, quantity, and efficiency standards.\nDuties/Responsibilities\nOperates tools according to instructions, specifications, and standard charts.\nAbility to read blueprints, work orders, and other specifications to ensure the proper setup sequence is followed.\nObserves each machine to verify quality performance.\nVerifies measuring instruments such as gauges, calipers, and micrometers are in proper working order.\nPerforms other related duties as assigned.\nThorough understanding of mechanics and other properties of machines.\nAbility to follow proper safety protocols.\nAbility to determine whether machinery is working properly based on specifications for expectations such as fixtures, cutting speeds, or feed rates.\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using all units of measure, including whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.\nWillingness to build new skills and learn in a fast-paced environment.\nQualifications\nEducation and Experience:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required;
