As part of our warehouse and delivery team, you will use hand trucks and forklifts to load and unload delivery vehicles and drive vehicles to delivery locations. You will accurately keep records of all inventories, both received and delivered, and observe safe workplace rules and guidelines when unloading and transporting cargo.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nLoad and unload box trucks and other vehicles.\nUse forklift to move pallets and large items from warehouse to trucks.\nKeep accurate records of items shipped and received.\nSafely drive trucks to delivery locations and unload goods.\nReceive, verify, stage and stock/inventory all incoming material.\nResponsible for inspection/care of material handling equipment, as needed.\nSafe/proper operation of material handling equipment, as needed.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nValid Texas Driver’s License with a clean record.\nExperience operating a sit-down forklift.\nExperience loading and unloading in a warehouse environment.\nExperience with warehouse inventory management.\nGood Communication and organization skills\nMust be self-motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced and ever-changing industry.\nMust be able to work positively within a team environment.\nMust be able to learn quickly and have a desire to succeed.\nMust have strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify solutions with minimal assistance.\nWork Environment:\nThis job operates in a corporate office and warehouse with exposure to other employees and contractors.\nPhysical Demands:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.\nThis job operates in a client project environment with exposure to employee, subcontractors and trades.\nAbility to freely access all points of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environment.\nAbility to comprehend forms in space and understand relationships of plane and solid objects. May be used in such tasks as blueprint reading and in solving geometry problems. Frequently described as the ability to “visualize” objects of two and three dimensions, or to think visually of geometric forms.\nAbility to manipulate materials and/or equipment up to 50 lbs. The frequency of manipulation if frequently.\nAbility to move up or mount by using the hands or feet to include:\nLadders - Step stool, 8' to 10' ladder, extension ladder\nStairways - 3 or more flights\nTo bend forward or down from the middle of the waist or the middle of the back, to bend, downwards, to lower oneself and/or to move freely on hands and knees between 20-50 times daily.\nTo stretch out, extend, or put forth a bodily part. To touch or grasp something, by extending or stretching.
