Occasional support outside core hours and intermittent weekend support may be required.\r\nJob Summary The International Mail Support Analyst supports inspection service international mail control and security–related programs, including, but not limited to, import/export controls and interdictions of foreign lotteries, counterfeit U.S. Postal Money Orders, and mail containing short paid/invalid postage.\r\nEssential Functions and Responsibilities Conduct evaluations of Customs data to identify instances of non-compliance.\r\nTriage mail pieces for violations of export control, foreign lottery, and USPS revenue products (e.g., online postage, dangerous goods and money orders); handle mail pieces through processes for hold out, return to sender, and seizure.\r\nRender items to Program Managers and/or Postal Inspectors assigned to Global Security for criminal investigation and/or seizure.\r\nConduct research, such as data-mining Postal records to identify fraudulent activity and/or instances of non-compliance; prepare reports documenting analytical results; disseminate research results to appropriate contacts in a timely manner.\r\nComplete assigned tasks to ensure adherence to required timeframes in support of criminal or civil investigation and export control issues, as appropriate; assist Global Security with developing intelligence for potential criminal investigations; prepare initial investigative research; compile basic background information to include, but not limited to, researching all pertinent records and other data.\r\nDocument and report analytical results, create reports that present clear and concise representations of the information analyzed; disseminate data as required by the assigned task(s).\r\nReport all instances of non-compliance in a timely, accurate and complete manner.\r\nMove cleared items to dispatch in a timely fashion.\r\nMinimum Qualifications & Skills An associate's degree (or equivalent college credit) from an accredited college or university and/ or a minimum of five years of work experience.\r\nAbility to review financial information, conduct analysis, conduct research, and communicate effectively orally and in writing.\r\nPhysical ability to perform the duties of the position, which require arduous exertion involving prolonged standing, walking, bending, and reaching, and may involve handling heavy containers of mail and parcels weighing up to 70pounds.\r\nSecurity Requirements / Background Investigation Requirements Must be a U.S. Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident.\r\nFavorable credit check for all cleared positions.\r\nSuccessfully passing a background investigation including drug screening.\r\nResidency requirement – 3 consecutive years in the last 5 years.\r\nPhysical Requirements / Working Conditions Must have mobility to attend meetings with other managers and employees.\r\nStand for prolonged and extended periods of time.\r\nClimb/stoop/kneel 0%–10% of the time.\r\nLift/pull/push 0%–10% of the time.\r\nWear, type, and use a telephone system 100% of the time.\r\nSit for prolonged and extended periods of time.\r\nEqual Opportunity Employer KACE is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.
