In the meantime, sign up for our talent community so you can be the first to know about PCL opportunities.ResponsibilitiesHere's how a(n) Engineering/Technical Student contributes to our team:Assist Field/Project Engineers, Project Managers, and SuperintendentsConduct safety audits and quality auditsRead and understand drawings and specificationsLog submittals, process RFI’s and prepare reportsAssist with surveying and project layoutMaintain and update field drawings, field equipment and recordsAssist with coordinating subcontractors, vendors and field staffCoordinate material deliveries and documentationAttend relevant project meetingsPrepare memos, letters, meeting minutes, contracts, and other forms and documentsAssist with estimating and soliciting subcontractors and/or suppliers for information and pricingOther duties as assignedQualificationsCurrently enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a degree relevant to the construction industry such as construction management, construction engineering, or construction technology.A desire to pursue a career in the construction industryAvailable to work full time from May to AugustWilling to temporarily relocate to project locationsProof of eligibility to work in the United States18 years of age or older and possess a valid Driver’s LicenseEmployment with PCL is contingent upon passing a substancePCL is an innovative, employee-owned company of people who find passion in their profession and take pride in doing great work every day.
