The company is a subsidiary of Precinmac, a family of precision machining and fabrication businesses.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist located in South Paris, Maine. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for operating and programming CNC machinery, designing and creating precision parts using various machining techniques, conducting quality control checks, and maintaining the functionality and safety of machinery. The role requires adherence to strict quality standards to ensure the highest level of precision is achieved in all projects.QualificationsExperience with Machine Operation, particularly with CNC equipmentStrong skills in Machining and Milling, including the ability to work with tight tolerancesProficiency with Quality Control principles to ensure products meet or exceed specificationsKnowledge of Machinery maintenance and troubleshootingAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawingsAttention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workProven problem-solving skills and the ability to work independentlyRelevant certifications or technical training in CNC machining or related fields is a plusPrior experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is highly desirable
