The SMT Setup Associate will set up and load materials into the SMT (Surface Mount Technology) machine. The ideal SMT Setup Associate candidate has a basic understanding of SMT setup techniques, strong attention to detail, and good communication skills. The SMT Setup Associate is a full-time, temp-to-hire position in Moorpark, CA.\n\nSMT Setup Associate Job Responsibilities:\n\n* Load & Assist with Set-up & Staging of Product on the SMT Lines\n* Perform Setup & teardown on Feeders for Various Pick & Place Machines\n* Assist the Operator in Setting up & Running Machines as Needed\n* Perform Manual Placement of SMT Components When Necessary\n* Understand Part Numbers & Descriptions\n* Other Duties as Assigned\n\nSMT Setup Associate Job Requirements:\n\n* High School Diploma or equivalent required\n* Prior Experience Working in a Manufacturing Environment is Preferred\n* Must Have a Basic Understanding of SMT Setup Techniques & Production Processes\n* Familiarity with SMT Feeders & Feeder Loading Procedures\n* Basic Knowledge of pick-and-place equipment & Related SMT Production Equipment is Required\n* Ability to Recognize & Identify Common Electronic Components Including Component Orientation\n* Ability to Read & Understand Component Part Numbers, Descriptions, Labels & Manufacturing Documentation\n* Ability to Read & Write in English & Follow Written & Verbal Instructions Accurately\n* Must be in Good Health and Able to use Both Hands and lift up to 25 Lbs\n* Must be ITAR Compliant\n\nPrideStaff Hiring Requirements:\n\n* Must be 18+ years old\n* Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check\n* Must be willing to submit to a drug screen\n* Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the US\n\nEnhance your career with a full-time job with a great company, competitive wages, and let PrideStaff support you in your future employment endeavors.
