Forklift Operators needed in the Vance areaHourly Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 Shift: Will start on 1st and eventually move to 2nd.Job Summary:Responsible for the operation of a forklift or other heavy equipment to safely move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise around the facility.Skills and Competencies:Ability to drive a forkliftAbility to lift 50 poundsAbility to sit for long periodsAbility to communicate effectivelyAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divideAbility to read and write English and/or be able to follow instructionsAbility to work in a dusty environment, hot/cold/rainy weatherWillingness to work mandatory overtime, including weekends and holidaysMajor Job Duties and Responsibilities: Performs a safety check of the forklift to ensure it is safe to operate.Checks fluid levels- For oil, water and fuel before operating the liftEnsures the packaging lines have empty pallets available and informs the supervisor of the pallet inventoryRemoves palletized bags from the production lines and places them on the stretch-wrapper Operates the stretch-wrapper and changes the stretch film as requiredPlaces palletized bags in inventory and ensuring they are located in the proper rows storing them neatly without damaging otherRequirements:MUST have at least 2 years experience operating a forkliftDouble forklift is a plusBackground/drug screen requiredGive PrideStaff a call205-440-3729Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $16.00 - $17.00
