The candidate may have to provide quality coding solutions for simple applications and complex information or operating systems. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and software development. Attention to detail and an analytical mind are essential qualities for a successful career in programming.\nThe goal is to design and build superior and innovative software by writing clean and flawless code.\n\nJob Responsibilities\nCollaborate with business analysts and developers to produce software designs.\nFormulate program specifications and basic prototypes.\nTransform software designs and specifications into high-functioning code in appropriate language.\nIntegrate individual software solutions to higher-level systems.\nTest code periodically to ensure it produces the desirable results and perform debugging when necessary.\nPerform upgrades to make software and systems more secure and efficient.\nCollaborate with technical writers to create documentation for user support.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nEducation\nA B.S. or B.A. in computer science, software engineering, or a relevant discipline is preferred.\n\nQualifications and Experience\nProven experience as a programmer or in a relevant role.\nExperience with object-oriented programming languages such as C++, Java, or Python.\nExcellent knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies.\nDetail-oriented and excellent concentration ability.\nAn analytical mindset and critical thinking.\nDemonstrate ability to discover and fix errors in code.\n\nSupervisory Responsibility\nThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.\n\nWork Environment\nThis job generally operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely involves standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The noise level in the work environment is low.\n\nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential job functions of this job.\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
