Tutor coordinator manages and oversees the tutor program that includes but is not limited to-- scheduling, hiring, training, recordkeeping and reporting as well as being a liaison for determining content, etc.\r\nEssential Performance Responsibilities\r\nInterviews prospective, and monitor hiring process, of School wide and AVID tutors\r\nSchedules and trains School wide and AVID tutors\r\nSupports District AVID tutor training\r\nMaintains and turn in time cards for School wide and AVID tutors\r\nGives input to administration with regards to the effectiveness of individual School wide and AVID tutors\r\nDetermines logistics of School wide tutorials-- room assignments, time limits, student sign up, release process for students\r\nCommunicates with North High staff on tutorial program including information about participation, attendance and progress\r\nAssists in developing a resource file of enrichment materials to be used during tutorials\r\nModels effective tutorials for North High staff\r\nFacilitates or assist with tutorials during AVID classes and schoolwide tutoring times\r\nBe familiar with textbooks and materials used in honors and Advanced Placement courses\r\nMaintains appropriate records and documentation of the School wide tutorials\r\nServes as a liaison to students and teachers, which include classroom observations, course content and requirements, and content of tutorial activities\r\nCoordinate the Student Coach program\r\nManages the tutoring program budget\r\nAssists the College and Career Coordinator as needed\r\nOther duties as assigned by Building Principal\r\nAdditional Duties: Assists with additional duties as assigned by supervisor.\r\nEquipment: This position may require the ability to use ClearTouch panels and iPads in addition to basic office equipment such as computers, copiers, scanners, and fax machine.
