At Dynamic, we foster a rewarding workplace, investing in our employees with industry-leading training programs that pave the way for growth and advancement.\n\nOverview\nThe Project Engineer is responsible for leading the due diligence investigations as well as the design and engineering analyses of various types of retail, commercial, industrial and residential site layouts throughout regions where we do business. Projects include working with several Fortune 500 companies, as well as working with local and regional developers with varying degrees of complexity.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nReview municipal zoning and land development ordinances and applicable agency regulations to determine land development limitations for the property.\n\nPrepare Site Investigation and Due Diligence Reports to include the review of ordinances, utility service research, outside agency regulations and site visits to establish comprehensive development guidelines.\n\nPrepare Conceptual Site Plans.\n\nPrepare preliminary Grading Plans and Design.\n\nDesign of Stormwater Management and Stormwater Conveyance Systems, Utility Systems and Soil Erosion and Sediment Control Design Plans.\n\nPrepare construction cost estimates.\n\nPrepare project proposals.\n\nPrepare and manage project budgets.\n\nProject coordination with client, other consultants and project team for the purpose of preparing a comprehensive site plan application.\n\nPrepare technical reports including drainage, sanitary sewer and site investigation reports.\n\nPrepare written correspondence to outside agencies, client, contractor, etc.\n\nPresent to planning and zoning boards, municipal agencies and project teams.\n\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nQualifications\n\nBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.\n\n5+ years’ experience in Civil Site Engineering (residential, institutional, industrial, and/or commercial site design and permitting experience).\n\nEngineer-In-Training (EIT) required.\n\nProfessional Engineer (PE) required.\n\nValid driver’s license.\n\nAbility to maintain and operate personal and/or company vehicle.\n\nProficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D.\n\nKnowledge of Truck and Turning & Modeling software.\n\nIn depth knowledge of the planning and zoning process.\n\nKnowledge of Hydrologic and Hydraulic and Stormwater Design.\n\nProficient in design and drafting capabilities.\n\nProficient grading and drainage design skills.\n\nUtility design experience including pump station and force mains.\n\nExperience dealing with regulatory agencies and review professionals.\n\nProficient in the use of available mapping websites for due diligence and site investigation purposes.\n\nConstruction support experience.\n\nProficient in the use of the following design tools for site engineering:\nAutoCAD Civil3D\n\nHydrology Software i.e. Hydraflow, HydroCAD, PondPack\n\nHydraulic Software i.e. Hydraflow, StormCAD, Storm and Sanitary Analysis (SSA)\n\nHEC-RAS\n\nProficient in the use of Microsoft Software including Word, Excel, Outlook and Project.\n\nProficient in the use of Bluebeam Revu and/or Adobe to prepare design document markups.\n\nExcellent written and oral communication skills.\n\nIndependent and critical thinking abilities.\n\nSuperior organizational and delegation ability.\n\nAbility to work and lead in a team oriented environment with a focus on staff development and mentoring.\n\nClient management experience.\n\nWhat We Offer\nWe strive to provide a great company culture consisting of a variety of team building events: trivia nights, softball and volleyball leagues, mini golf tournaments, BBQ’s, happy hours, poker nights, catered weekly staff meetings, surfboard lending programs, and much more.\n\nHealth Insurance Benefits\n\nDisability and 401k Retirement Accounts\n\nPaid Vacation and Sick Time\n\nPaid HolidaysParental Leave\n\nTuition Reimbursement\n\nPathways for Career Advancement\n\nThe salary range for this position is $95k - $107.5k\n\nDynamic is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
