You will oversee the processing of internet orders, including the pulling of items from the selling floor, movement of merchandise from departments and stockrooms to the internet room, and packaging of merchandise for shipping directly to customers.Additional responsibilities of the Internet Fulfillment Department Manager include:Managing the daily activities of the internet fulfillment team, including order processing, picking, packing, and shipping functionsTraining, coaching, and developing fulfillment associates by leading by exampleProviding in-depth product and process knowledge to ensure associates can fulfill orders accurately and on timeAccurately and efficiently completing all transactions, documentation, and paperwork while adhering to company policies and proceduresMaintaining awareness of inventory levels and coordinating with department managers to ensure product availability for online ordersMonitoring fulfillment metrics and productivity to identify opportunities for continuous improvementJob RequirementsSuccessful candidates for the Internet Fulfillment Department Manager role should have the ability to lead a fulfillment team to process internet orders efficiently while maintaining excellent service standards.Additional requirements of the Internet Fulfillment Department Manager include:High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree, preferredPrior retail management or fulfillment operations management experienceStrong customer service and/or retail sales experience, preferredExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsComputer literate; ability to learn computer systems and interpret reportsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple prioritiesAbility to perform physical tasks including operating a freight elevator, lifting (up to 75 lbs.), and frequent walking/standingAvailable to work varied days and hours as work schedule requires, including evenings and weekendsBenefitsAt Boscov's, we value our employees, and that's why we provide a competitive compensation and benefits package.
