GROUPS & RECOVERY MINISTRIES DEVELOPER// EAGLE BROOK CHURCHJOB OBJECTIVESChampions Eagle Brook’s value of Connecting in Community churchwide by developing resources to create engaging experiences and build transformational relationshipsAdvances the value of Groups & Recovery Ministries by developing systems, resources, events and training materials to support group strategies and group leader developmentSupports the Groups & Recovery Ministries Director by collaborating in resource development and engagement with the campus groups pastoral staffReports to the Groups & Recovery Ministries DirectorESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSDevelops content, resources and connection strategies under the direction of the Groups & Recovery Ministries DirectorWorks with cross-functional teams to create and develop content and curriculum that helps grow the value of Connecting in Community (i.e., small groups, mid-size groups, conversation guide)Develops relationships with campuses to ensure the ministries of DivorceCare, GriefShare and Quest 180 are fully equippedCreates volunteer tier structure development resources (i.e., Group Leader training, Director development)Works with the Communications and Creative teams to develop and manage marketing and promotional needs for group strategies on campus and online (digital and print)Collaborates with Ministry Systems Developer to identify gaps and develop systems that ensure group logistics are managedManages an assigned budgetOTHER JOB FUNCTIONSMaintains group leader website to communicate with and resource group leadersWorks with cross-functional teams inside and outside Eagle Brook to create and deploy content for recovery ministries (Quest180, Divorcecare, Griefshare)Understands and uses a database to support the strategies and structure of groups at Eagle BrookTracks ministry outcomes and expenses, including goals and budgetsStewards continuous improvement of existing strategiesOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSMinimum QualificationsFollower of Jesus and aligns with Eagle Brook Church’s nine core beliefsBachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (typically 4+ years)5+ years leading a small group2+ years in ministry program development or related experienceExpert knowledge of MS office, including Word and ExcelStrong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skillsStrong writing skillsStrong attention to detail, organization and time-management skillsStrong listening skillsPreferred QualificationsMaster’s degreeJOB DETAILSLocation: Centerville, MN (occasionally at various campuses)Status: Non-Exempt/HourlySalary Range: $23.00 - $27.00Full/Part Time: Full TimeRegular/Temporary: RegularWorkdays: Monday – Friday with occasional evenings and weekends at various campusesWork Hours: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm with occasional evenings and weekendsRemote Eligible: may be eligible to work remote one day per weekMinistry/Department: Central MinistryTeam: Groups & Recovery MinistriesWORK ENVIROMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDSRegular communicating with others to exchange informationRegular assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assignedRegular repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingersRegular sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standingOccasional moving about to accomplish tasks from one worksite to anotherOccasional adjusting or moving objects up to 20 pounds in all directionsBENEFITSEagle Brook Church’s benefit plan is designed to help you stay healthy, feel secure and maintain work/life balance.
