Community Education Coordinator

Part-Time Community Education CoordinatorWe are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Part-Time Community Education Coordinator to create public awareness of child abuse and neglect, and prevention strategies. This position is 25 hours per week and can be based out of either our Lewiston or South Paris Office, with occasional travel throughout our service area.Starting Pay Range: $21.50-23.00/hour depending on education and experienceEssential DutiesBringing together community stakeholders and project partners, building public awareness, and work to enhance community supports, trainings, and opportunities for clientsLead and implement prevention programs and strategies, including conducting trainings in various curriculumsEnsure proper data collection and reporting is completedAssist in document referrals, community inquiries, and parenting requestsBenefits:Paid Time Off (up to 18 days for full-time employees)Up to 13 paid holidays per year403(b) pension plan with agency contribution and matchCommunity Concepts is a qualified employer under the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) programMileage reimbursementDesired Qualifications:Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Human Services or other Health-related degreeThree years experience in project coordination, preferredTwo years of direct service experience, preferredOther Requirements: Successful candidates must possess excellent customer service and communication skills; ability to function autonomously and as part of a community team; fluency in multiple languages would be a plus.
