{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"6ea51dedd25aa05da73dcdf0","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/6ea51dedd25aa05da73dcdf0","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/6ea51dedd25aa05da73dcdf0","title":"Material Handler","description":"Job Title: Material Handler\n\nLocation: Wayne NJ\n\nShift/Hours: 1st Shift (7am – 3pm) on a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off\n\nJob Description & Responsibilities:\n\nReceiving Coordinates the verification, inspection, and receipt of incoming material to ensure timely delivery to designated areas.\n\nVisually checks all incoming material to verify quantity and for any damage to package or contents.\n\nCompares accompanying paperwork against contents and original purchasing records to confirm that the proper items have been received and inputs verification of same\n\nDocuments missing or damaged parts and completes necessary paperwork.\n\nAdheres to company guidelines regarding the proper handling of classified and/or hazardous materials.\n\nRoutes packages according to inspection code.\n\nMay assist in the delivery of packages throughout the facility, incorporating the use of power or manual equipment and hand tools to move heavy or awkward materials or packages.\n\nPerforms other duties and responsibilities as required.\n\nInventory Management Prepares and verifies assembly kits to meet pre-scheduled release dates using pick list.\n\nSelects stock using first in-first out system, checks and records solderability date, vendor date code (when required) and quantity issued.
