Our services include industry-specific coaching, payroll and bookkeeping, Medicaid billing, compliance support, and representative payee services.Position OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Finance Manager with a strong accounting background to oversee financial operations for a portfolio of clients in the disability care industry.This role is ideal for a current or former Senior Accountant who is ready to take on more ownership, client interaction, and operational responsibility. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial processes, strengthening internal controls, and improving systems—while helping clients navigate the complexities of Medicaid billing and payroll.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Financial OversightOwn financial operations for a portfolio of clients, acting as a trusted advisorEnsure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness across billing, payroll, and reportingProvide guidance and support to clients on financial best practicesMedicaid Billing & Revenue IntegrityOversee and review Medicaid billing submissions for accuracy and complianceIdentify, investigate, and resolve billing discrepancies and denialsImplement and maintain audit processes to ensure ongoing billing integrityLead cleanup efforts for historical billing errorsPayroll ManagementOversee payroll processing across multiple clientsEnsure compliance with wage laws and payroll regulationsReview payroll outputs and troubleshoot complex issuesAudit, Compliance & ControlsLead preparation for workers’ compensation audits and financial reviewsStrengthen internal controls around billing and payroll processesMaintain organized, audit-ready financial documentationAccounts Receivable & Financial TrackingMonitor aged receivables and support collections processesOversee internal invoicing and ensure timely billing cyclesProvide visibility into cash flow and outstanding balancesProcess Improvement & AutomationEvaluate and improve financial workflows for scalability and efficiencyPartner with leadership to implement automation and AI-driven solutionsBuild more robust, repeatable systems for billing and payroll operationsCross-Functional LeadershipServe as a senior resource for resolving complex client issuesSupport internal initiatives and special projectsHelp elevate overall financial operations across the organizationQualifications2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance preferred (Senior Accountant level preferred)Strong understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial controlsExperience with payroll systems and multi-entity or client-based accountingHigh attention to detail with the ability to review and catch errors at scaleProven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesStrong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement mindsetExcellent communication skills with client-facing experiencePreferred ExperienceBackground in healthcare, Medicaid billing, or regulated industriesExperience with Utah DSPD systems or similar programsExposure to bookkeeping for multiple clients or entitiesInterest in leveraging automation and AI in financial operationsWhat Makes This Role UniqueTransition from traditional accounting into a more operational, client-facing leadership roleOpportunity to build and improve systems, not just maintain themWork directly with business owners in a niche, growing industryBe part of a fast-growing, entrepreneurial company with real impactPay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceWork Location: In person
