{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"6ea251e34e6aa01fd5dbe494","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/6ea251e34e6aa01fd5dbe494","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/6ea251e34e6aa01fd5dbe494","title":"Mechanical Planner","description":"Description:\nCTG is seeking to fill a Mechanical Planner opening for a client in Baytown, Texas.\n\nLocation: Baytown, TX\nDuration: 12 months\n\nResponsibilities:\nPlan non-emergency maintenance jobs (Planned, Next Opportunity and PM work) to the appropriate details including man-hour and cost estimates, material requirements, access needs, etc.\nCreate job plans for repairs/replacement of instrumentation and electrical control systems and all related electrical equipment in areas of responsibility\nCreate and maintain maintenance/PM plans for Meridium generated calibrations\nCreate and maintain maintenance/PM plans for Meridium generated safety inspection\nCreate and maintain task lists for repetitive jobs\nCreate and maintain Bills of Material\nOutline detailed work instructions for work execution, outlining safety advice, resources, material, tools and services\nWork closely with the CMC (Contractor Management Coordinator) to plan for contractor resource requirements\nEnsure that jobs are planned in a timely manner to support the requested notification requirement dates\nEnsure job resources are obtained and orders are set to the ‘ready-to-schedule’ status\nReview and purge the backlog on a weekly basis, and distributing the ‘ready-to-schedule’ backlog to their area of responsibility\nClose out jobs by entering notification history and technically completing orders\nReview completed shop papers and update the associated task lists and bills of material\nIdentify & communicate/address repetitive equipment problems to Unit Engineer\nCreate and maintain Maintenance Plans\nTWIC card is required\n\nExcellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.\n\nCTG does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services for this role.\n\nTo Apply:\nTo be considered, please apply directly to this requisition using the link provided.
