Reporting to the Production Supervisor the AIT Technician – Vehicle Integration will responsible for the hands‑on manufacturing and assembly of sub‑assemblies essential for spacecraft vehicle integration. The ideal candidate should possess a keen understanding of quality control and AS-9100 standards.\n\nThis role is on our Weekday shift (Monday - Thursday) from 6:00AM - 4:30PM.\nKey Duties and Responsibilities\n\nFollow detailed procedures to assemble complex electronic and mechanical modules.\n\nOperate hand tools such as screwdrivers, torque wrenches, and light power tools.\n\nAbility to quickly change priority while working in a fast-paced environment.\n\nCommunicate statuses, issues, and suggestions effectively to the support engineering team.\n\nUpdating documentation and hardware statuses through online services.\n\nBasic avionics and the electrical troubleshooting.\n\nAssist in spacecraft integration related activities.\n\nMust possess a strong work ethic, be able to work with limited supervision, and meet the requirements of the attendance policy.\n\nMust perform all functions of the job in a safe and professional manner.\n\nMust keep work area(s) in a neat, clean, safe, and orderly condition.\n\nAbility to stand for most of the working day.\n\nPerform miscellaneous lab duties, including kitting, inventory, and organization tasks.\n\nPerform other tasks/responsibilities as assigned\n\nQualifications and Skills\n\nHigh school diploma or GED\n\n2+ years of professional experience working hands‑on as a technician within electromechanical assembly or spacecraft/spacecraft hardware manufacturing\n\nExperience with wire harness routing and/or space flight integration.\n\nAbility to read, understand and follow detailed work instructions for assembly and testing flight product including blueprints and schematic drawings\n\nProficiency with Windows 10, Microsoft Office products, and internet browser applications\n\nGood written and verbal communication skills\n\nKnowledge of soldering tools and practices (J-STD-001 certification preferred but not required)\n\nAbility to maintain a clean and organized workspace\n\nFamiliarity with cleanroom cleanliness standards and ESD precautions\n\nMust have excellent visual acuity to perform detailed inspections and quality control tasks\n\nAbility to accurately distinguish a wide range of colors, which is essential for success in this role\n\nU.S. Person or lawful permanent resident to comply with U.S. government space technology export regulations.\n\nYour actual level and base salary will be determined case-by-case and may vary based on the job‑related qualification, knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
