Established and growing Industrial Services Company has immediate need for a dynamic lead Structural Engineer to join their leadership team. Growing company with excellent benefits and work environment.
$100k- $150k DOE / Direct Hire Position
The Role
Lead structural engineering design for industrial, commercial, data center, manufacturing, distribution, and aviation projects. Design steel structures, foundations, and structural systems from concept through construction administration. Manage projects, develop proposals, and mentor engineering/drafting team.
Key Responsibilities
PE stamp design calculations and drawings
Structural system design and load calculations for steel structures, foundation systems and CFM
BIM modeling and shop drawing review
Project management and client relations
Proposal development
Team leadership and department development
Construction administration
Required Qualifications
Georgia PE License (or ability to obtain immediately), PE License in bordering states a plus
Minimum B.S. in Civil Engineering with Structural major, Master's Degree preferred
Minimum 5 years industrial engineering experience
Proficient in RISA 3D or STAAD, Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam
Strong understanding of structural steel, concrete, masonry, wood design
Experience with load calculations, ASCE 7, IBC requirements
Understanding of the steel, stainless steel and aluminum welding codes.
Able to stamp design calculations and drawings
Clean driving record and background check
