Walking from building to building, you can observe our whole process, from concept to final product.\n\nWhat we’re looking for:\nDesign, develop, test, and document electrical systems (hardware & firmware) for new and existing products\nDiagnose issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions across cross-functional teams\nSupport full product lifecycle—from concept and design through testing and customer implementation\nDevelop test protocols; analyze data to drive design decisions and performance improvements\nApply core electrical engineering principles (power systems, embedded programming, instrumentation)\nUtilize CAD tools and embedded programming (Altium, SolidWorks Electrical, C preferred)\nCollaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to drive innovation and communicate project needs\nContribute to a strengths-based, team-oriented culture and continuous improvement efforts\n\nWhat you’ll do:\nThe Electrical Engineer collaborates with internal teams, customers, and industry partners to design, develop, test, and support the electrical components (hardware and firmware) of innovative products and technologies. This role plays a key part in cross-functional problem solving while contributing to a strengths-based, team-focused culture.\n\nOther key areas include:\nBachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering\n5+ years of experience, required\nStrong experience with CAD tools (Altium, SolidWorks Electrical preferred)\nProficiency in embedded programming (C preferred) and Microsoft Office\nSolid foundation in electrical engineering principles and data analysis\nAbility to read and interpret technical information and apply scientific concepts\nStrong problem-solving skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset\nExcellent communication skills (verbal and written)\nHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines\nDemonstrates professionalism, sound judgment, and integrity\nValues diversity and works effectively across teams and organizational levels\nValid driver’s license and passport; ability to travel internationally\n\nOur location:\nIn 2005, Nova-Tech partnered with Life-Science Innovations to buy a 37-building, 110-acre historic hospital facility in Willmar from the State of Minnesota. Since that time, we have developed the resulting MinnWest Technology Campus into the largest privately owned technology park in the country. Willmar, MN is a bustling community located less than two hours from Minneapolis and one hour from St. Cloud known for its lakes and vibrant entertainment.\n\nThings to check out: Willmar Stingers, Willmar WarHawks, Little Crow Ski Team, Green Lake and boat cruises, Glacial Lakes State Trail, Dorothy A.
