Duties also include maintaining and supporting developed Program databases and associated workflow programs. Duties may also include management of modernization work performed in Naval Shipyards. The candidate will ensure work is performed efficiently and in accordance with specifications/drawings/work procedures and company policies.\n\nCandidate must be willing to travel to other Shipyards as needed (less than 10%) in the continental United States, Hawaii, or the Far East.\n\nThe candidate for this position will be primarily supporting the USS HARTFORD (SSN 768) Engineered Overhaul (EOH). Successful candidates will be expected to engage with all levels of management to report progress, manage issues, and seek the support of functional organizations. Specifically, engagement will be throughout the waterfront organizations including, but not limited to, the following: Planning, Operations, Engineering, Purchasing, Test, Contracts, Finance, Ship’s Force, SUPSHIP Groton, and PMS 392.\n\nThe Program Representative position will be a combination of program management and technical oversight. This position requires a highly motivated self-starter who can operate with minimal supervision and possesses strong interpersonal and communications skills.\n\nYou will have the opportunity to work with all areas of the submarine business, both within EB as well as with the Submarine enterprise.\n\nWorking in a face paced environment, each day is a new opportunity to help solve both the tactical and strategic challenges the Project Team faces.
