With a nationwide footprint and opportunities for growth across multiple locations and disciplines, SPL is a place where you can build a career while making a real-world impact.We’re seeking an experienced Measurement Foreman to support our field measurement operations in Artesia, NM.In this role, you’ll provide hands-on leadership and technical oversight across gas and/or liquid measurement activities, ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately, and in compliance with industry regulations and SPL standards. This is a key leadership position responsible for supervising technicians, coordinating field schedules, supporting client needs, overseeing preventative maintenance programs, and ensuring measurement systems operate with precision and reliability.What You’ll DoOversee field measurement operations, including daily scheduling, job execution, and technician supportSupervise and coach Measurement Technicians and Team Leads, ensuring work quality and safety complianceCoordinate installations, inspections, preventative maintenance, calibrations, and project-driven measurement workReview and approve job tickets, field documentation, calibration reports, chain of custody documentation, and timecardsProvide advanced troubleshooting support and technical guidance for measurement-related issuesEnsure compliance with applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements (AGA, GPA, API, and other applicable standards)Serve as a primary field point-of-contact for customers, communicating project updates, scheduling needs, and operational issuesMaintain measurement equipment integrity and ensure proper tool and equipment readinessSupport business needs by assisting with field work as required, including emergency response or escalation supportPerform other duties as assignedRequirementsWhat You’ll BringHigh School Diploma or equivalentMinimum of two (2) years of experience in gas and/or liquid measurementProven supervisory, lead, or crew management experienceStrong technical knowledge of measurement systems, instrumentation, electronics, and process controlProficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving recordWhat You’ll Need To SucceedStrong leadership skills with the ability to supervise, coach, and motivate field teams while maintaining accountabilityAbility to manage multiple priorities, coordinate schedules, and maintain operational efficiency in a fast-paced field environmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, compliance, and data integrityProven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex measurement issues under changing field conditionsStrong understanding of custody transfer, calibration verification, and measurement validation practicesClear communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with technicians, clients, and internal leadershipStrong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to adapt quickly and maintain performance expectationsWhat We OfferCompetitive compensationMedical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) with company matchEmployer-paid life, AD&D, and disability insurancePaid time off, sick leave, and paid holidaysPaid parental leaveEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Tuition reimbursement and professional development supportWork Environment, Schedule, & TravelFull-time, field-based positionAbility to work flexible or extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as business needs requireDaily local travel required; periodic overnight travel may be required depending on client and operational needsAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and industrial environmentsOur Commitment to Diversity & InclusionAt SPL, we believe that a diverse team is a strong team.
