The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure in Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, reliability, and cost efficiency. This role will support cloud architecture, infrastructure automation, DevOps practices, and application deployments while collaborating closely with development teams to optimize performance, security, and operational efficiency.\nThe candidate must reside within the continental US.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure solutions leveraging services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, ELB/ALB, EKS, and other AWS-native technologies.\nDevelop and maintain scalable, highly available, and secure cloud architectures supporting application environments.\nProvision and manage AWS resources using AWS Management Console, CLI, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.\nAutomate cloud infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployments using DevOps best practices.\nImplement cloud security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, network security, logging, monitoring, and compliance requirements.\nMonitor cloud environments for availability, performance, security, and cost optimization while troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure issues.\nIntegrate AWS infrastructure with CI/CD pipelines to support automated builds, testing, and application deployments using tools such as GitHub Actions.\nCollaborate with development teams to translate application requirements into secure and efficient cloud-based solutions.\nSupport application deployments and releases using containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).\nAssist with troubleshooting complex cloud infrastructure, networking, and deployment issues.\nContribute to team objectives and take on additional responsibilities as needed.\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.\nA minimum of 5 years of experience is required.\nStrong understanding of AWS core services, including compute, storage, networking, databases, and security.\nExperience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.\nProficiency with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and system administration.\nStrong knowledge of AWS security principles, IAM, encryption, and cloud security best practices.\nExperience with networking concepts including subnetting, routing, load balancing, firewall rules, and VPN connectivity.\nExperience troubleshooting AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based applications.\nUnderstanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) concepts and tools.\nStrong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and stakeholders.\nAdditional Qualifications:\n\nExperience in SAFe/Agile Software Development.\nPrior government/federal experience\nAbility to obtain a government clearance.\nMust possess one or more of the following certifications (or an equivalent):\nAWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional\nAWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty\nBenefits:\nMedical/Dental/Vision\n401k with Employer Match\nPTO + Federal Holidays\nCorporate Laptop\nTraining Opportunities\nRemote Opportunity\nNote: Selected candidates will be required to complete fingerprinting at a government facility and undergo a background check as part of the hiring process.\nMind Computing is an equal opportunity employer.
