We cover most states and most industries; including but not limited to medical/dental, office, retail, industrial, vet, salons, and hospitality.Role DescriptionThe Project Engineer will assist in multiple aspects of the construction arm of the business, ensuring a professional and positive experience with all in contact from the subcontractors to our clients. This individual will be assisting multiple Project Managers throughout the construction process (scheduling, project management/organization, client reports).Responsibilities May Include Assisting in:Creation of scopes of work for subcontractors and invitation to bidQualifying of potential subcontractorsDrafting and sending contracts to subcontractorsPermit paperwork and procurementAssisting in ordering materialCoordination of submittal processDocumenting Change OrdersMaintaining paperwork for smooth handoff between departmentsUpdating/maintaining accurate daily log updates and client reportsCollection of close out documentation from subcontractors and vendorsOther tasks as neededQualificationsRequired:Knowledge of commercial construction processAbility to read construction documents and manualsAbility to work in a strong team environmentExtremely detail orientedStrong organizational skillsStrong writing and speaking skillsProblem solving and multi-taskingBS/BA in Construction Management, Architecture or related field OR at least 2 years of professional experience in commercial constructionPreferred ExperienceSupporting commercial projects in dental, healthcare, retail, restaurant, vet clinics, etc.Familiarity with Smartsheets
