The Sewing Machine Operator will be trained with the technical knowledge and have the ability tocommunicatethe technical information requiredto perform as an operator in the sewing department.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nSupport, report to, and be directed by the Sewing Manager in his/her duties.\nPerforms basic to advanced sewing functions within efficiency standards to assemble textile materials into a finished product.\nMaintains quality control standards and takes appropriate action to maintain accuracy and precision with the highest degree of proficiency.\nAble to read and interpret technical packets, written processes, standard operating procedures, and follow instructions.\nAble to identify components and workings of sewing machine.\nUtilize various sewing machines, fixtures, and tooling to perform sewing functions to a high degree of proficiency.\nAble to perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on machine and identify the need for external services when needed.\nMaintain clean and organized workspace according to company standards.\nPerform all other duties reasonably related to the Company’s business when asked to do so by the Company’s executive team.\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\nMay be required to work overtime and/or extended hours depending on business needs.\nPhysical requirements may include sitting, standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, and kneeling for up to and including 8 hours.\nVision to view printed and electronic text and graphics.\nAbility to access information on computers, tablets, and electronics.\nAbility to handle and manipulate items with hands and/or fingers up to and including 8 hours.\nFull-time, on-site position.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nUtilize appropriate software to perform job duties, such as but not limited to ADP, Microsoft Office Suite and/or Microsoft Dynamics systems to facilitate job duties.\nWHAT WE OFFER\n401K and Paid Time Off Available after 1 year\nEmployee Assistance Program\nGrowth & Professional Development\nCompetitive Pay\nPaid Holidays\nSpiritus Systems is an affirmative action and equal opportunity employer.
